Marines from the Cedar Valley Detachment attended the 2021 Department of Iowa Convention, which was held in Des Moines, June 18-20, and hosted by Larry Nehring Detachment #103.
Convention events included Officer Elections, MODD Growl, Memorial Ceremony for recently-passed Marines, and other activities.
We were pleased to see dignitaries such as Mike Francis, Chuck Covert and Jan Denney in attendance.
We would also like to congratulate our Detachment Chaplain, Randy Randall, for being selected as Department of Iowa Marine of the Year. Congratulations, Randy!
